The Cavs would absorb Rip Hamilton
Memphis recently turned down the Cavs offer of absorbing Rudy Gay contract in a trade that would give them cap to keep Gasol but Memphis declined.
Cleveland does this trade and they draft the only two players that can actually start in this year draft.
Trade makes sense for everyone.
Cleveland is being aggressive. Rip wanted out of Det and playing time.
